本書作者安迪．帕帝康曾為佛教僧侶，現在是冥想正念推廣公司Headspace的共同創辦人，也是英國目前唯一通過醫療諮詢委員會許可私人開業的臨床醫療顧問，迄今在世界各地推廣冥想正念超過15年的時間，公認為英國最頂尖的正念專家之一。
